Welcome to the web site of the 09 Joze Show. Now in its third year, the September show at Accolds Farm, near Petworth, West Sussex, has established itself as a significant event in the artistic calendar.

The combination of a delightful natural setting and carefully chosen works in a range of media are at the heart of the show’s success. In the 09 Joze Show founder Josie Waldie and her co-curator Sophie Keir have assembled a group of emerging and established artists including painters, sculptors, ceramicists and photographers from the UK, Europe and the USA.
Accolds Farm, set in wooded Sussex countryside, makes a calm, welcoming and fascinating exhibition space. Ceramics & 2D works are displayed in the farmhouse, which dates from the 16th Century, and its barns and outbuildings, whilst sculptures of varying sizes and materials are arranged throughout the beautiful gardens and orchards. Visitors can enjoy the work and surroundings at a pace and in a sequence of their choice.
Curator Sophie Keir explains, “In the 09 Joze Show we have stuck to the original principle of showcasing quality work by emerging artists. At the same time, due to the success of the previous shows, we are delighted to have attracted pieces by internationally recognised artists from both the UK and the wider world. The show and its setting reflect the intrinsic beauty of art and nature in varying stages of development, and the pleasure of finding and appreciating that beauty in different forms and from diverse sources. We are confident that the Joze Show once again offers an opportunity to view and acquire art in a unique rural setting.”
